The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who can architect, build, and scale Confideck’s backend systems.
You’ll work closely with product, frontend, and regulatory experts to automate complex compliance processes and ensure our platform remains reliable, secure, and lightning-fast.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable backend services powering Confideck’s automation and validation tools.
- Build and maintain robust APIs and data models that integrate with existing enterprise systems (DMS, eQMS, PLM, ERP).
- Optimize data processing pipelines for speed, reliability, and compliance-readiness.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during design, sprints, and reviews.
- Own quality: write tests (Jest), maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure), and ensure performance and security standards.
What You Bring
- Technical expertise: 5+ years of backend experience with modern frameworks (TypeScript / Node.js, Python, or Go).
- Architectural thinking: Ability to design scalable, modular, and well-tested systems.
- Cloud experience: Strong background in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Automation mindset: Passion for building systems that eliminate repetitive work.
- Collaboration: Clear communicator who enjoys working across disciplines.
- Bonus: Experience with NestJS, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, or regulated environments (MedTech, Pharma, HealthTech).
